Sony E-Mount Lens Guide Here >>

Nikon vs. Sony?

In this video courtesy of the Tony & Chelsea Northrup channel, Chelsea concludes her ongoing saga of switching to the Sony mirrorless camera system from her beloved Nikon D850 and huge assortment of Nikon lenses. I don’t want to spoil the video for you so watch it first and then I will discuss my thoughts below the video.

WIth that being said, I found the video very entertaining and have enjoyed watching her go through the trial and tribulations when considering switching camera systems as a working professional photographer. I also learned a few things about Nikon I was not aware of over the series of videos Chelsea put out on this topic. This one was the best for me though!

Nikon vs. Sony: Did I choose wrong? (FINALE)

Conclusions

Spoiler alert!!! At the end of the day Chelsea ended up going with the Sony camera system. In particular because the new Sony A7R IV addressed several of the issues she had with the Sony A7 III, and the fact that the Sony lenses are clearly sharper overal when compared as you saw in the video. She certainly had some growing pains with the Sony system mostly due to the smaller mirrorless camera body being a bit awkward and not as refined as the Nikon DSLR, but the A7R IV addressed most of these issues and the new FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS Lens being released by Sony closed the deal for her as wildlife photography is very important.

That is about for this quick article, but be sure to subscribe to the Tony & Chelsea Northrup channel if you are not already, because they are constantly dropping great content and really offer a lot to people like us that are always interested in learning more!

So what do you think, Sony or Nikon?? Now with the Nikon mirrorless cameras which are pretty darn awesome, the decision becomes Canlı Baccarat Oynama Siteleri even more difficult I would say.

Have a great day and I’ll catch up with you later, Jay
