Sony Cameras and Timelapse Photography Tutorial – Interval Shooting

In this video tutorial I will show you how to create Timelapse Photography Videos using the Sony RX100 VII. Sony calls this Interval Shooting Function encase you are unaware.

I will go over all the various interval shooting function settings on the camera and then show you how to take the interval captured images and turn them into a video using the free Sony Imaging Edge Software as well as the more advanced program I use called Final Cut Pro X.

Longer exposures for Interval Shooting Function

If you are trying to take interval shots with longer exposure’s than 1/4 second you will need to change the shutter mode to Mechanical as opposed to Electronic.
